“You know those MasterCard commercials that end with Priceless? The cottages are nothing short of priceless. My son and I stayed in the Grandview and we toured the Hideaway. You will find tile floors, full kitchens, comfortable beds, gas grills and plenty of hospitality. Alan the owner is a gracious host. This is not a luxury hotel it is a home away from home that is steps away from the pristine Clearwater Beaches. Everything here at Clearwater is a short walk away anything you could desire, cold beer, shopping salon to highlight your do and great resturants. I highly recommend a stay here if you want a comfortable family place to spread out and bring your dogs they are pet friendly.”

“Stayed in Dolphin for 2 1/2 nights (got in very late) in September with girl friends for a Girls Weekend. Cannot beat the location! Steps to the beach and short walk to shopping, dining and a great bar with live music - The Brown Boxer. If you are looking for the Ritz, high-rise, high priced condo on the beach, then keep looking. If you are looking for location, location, location, and a traditional beach cottage, this is it. Although we arrived very late at night/early morning, and had a few problems, Management worked with us. Rodney and al did their best to accommodate the four ladies from the north. We had some great memories at the Dolphin. Thanks Rodney!”

“We are a family of 4 from Ohio...Mom/Dad...2 boys ages 25 and 22. We stayed at the Hideaway...and had a great time for the week we were there! The cottage was absolutely ideal for us...close to the beach (maybe 200 feet at most)...excellent for sleeping...warming up leftovers from the excellent restaurants nearby...and all with great service from Captain Al and the gang! We recommend 'The Hideaway' to all!!”

Our Week on the Beach
“The Hideaway Cottage was perfect for our needs. 6 adults, our 3 week old grandson and 2 dogs and we were quite comfortable. We wanted to spend some good quality time with our new grandson, family and friends and that's what we did. The cottage is beachside and the beach is a stones throw away, so we spent alot of time on the beach. Pier 60 is a couple blocks away and it's worth the short walk to see the arts, crafts and activities. Sunset Celebration there every night. My wife loved the stores along Mandalay Avenue on the way to the Pier. Food of all kinds everywhere you look; bar across the street; pizza on the corner. It was great! Our hosts, Capt Al, Rodney and Gayle were great, and a phone call away. I highly recommend this place if you want a more simple, more down to earth stay. I would happily stay here again.”

Clearwater Marine AquariumAvoid traffic on the bridge across the street from Clearwater Cottages is a Sightseeing Water Taxi that takes you directly to Clearwater Aquarium on Island Way.
